I fell in love with Dumbarton Oaks Park the first time I walked through the Park with my dog on an early spring day.  I believe that the Dumbarton Oaks Park Conservancy is making incredible progress, and I know that my gift will boost its capacity to restore, promote, and maintain the Park.

This year I am pledging to raise $1,000 for the Dumbarton Oaks Park Conservancy through its Giving Tuesday campaign, but I'm also encouraging my friends and the many wonderful volunteers I've met in the Park to make a contribution of whatever size they can on Giving Tuesday. Each and every gift will make a difference in restoring and maintaining this special place.

The meadows have now emerged from mounds of invasive weeds, and more than 12 acres are under full restoration, however, the Conservancy still needs significant funds to bring new stretches of woodlands back to heath and stop the flow of stormwater that is severely eroding the walking paths and picturesque stream bed.

Restoring this landscape is a labor of love, but it also requires dollars.  Please join me in making a generous gift that will help ensure that Dumbarton Oaks Park is enjoyed by all for generations to come.

Your gift of whatever amount is a huge help, and you can also amplify your gift by SHARING on your social media on Giving Tuesday why you are supporting the Conservancy, and by asking friends and family to join you in supporting this great cause. You can forward this page, or share this link with a few words about what the Park means to you. Your outreach will make a huge difference...And volunteer events are just so fun! Don't forget to invite your friends to join you the next time you volunteer in the Park!

Thank you for your generous support on Giving Tuesday and throughout the year, whether through a charitable contribution, or by volunteering in the Park. See you in the Park!
